last week was all about dark brown eyes with pinkish cheeks and lips 😀 i know i know… i really love this kind of look! 😀
the eye makeup is really easy to do! 🙂

MAC studio fix fluid foundation in NC40 mixed with Orgasm Illuminator (to sheer out the coverage)
garnier Light BB Eye roll-on (undereye)
Revlon colorstay foundation (undereye)
laura mercier invisible loose setting powder
laura mercier caviar stick eye colour in cocoa (applied to the outer part of the eyes and blended inwards so the color is darker on the outer corners) (oh and im loving this product so much right now!!!)
thebalm mary-loumanizer (inner corner of the eye)
Majolica Majorca Liquid Perfect Automatic Liner (liquid) in black (applied on top of carbon)
Majolica Majorca Mascara in Lash Expander Frame Plus
NARS laguna bronzer
NYX cream blush in glow
NYX blush in pinched

this week, i wanted to try something different. usually i try to play up my eyes… but this week, i wanted my lips to be the highlight of my look, so i tried to tone down my eyeshadow by using white eyeshadow with a very light brown for contouring, black eyeliner and a plum-ish red blush to go with the lipstick. here’s the result:
using laura mercier lipstain in mulberry
using revlon’s colorburst lipgloss in bordeaux
Products Used:
MUFE HD foundation in 123
pur 4-in-1 pressed mineral makeup in golden medium
MAC eyeshadows in: espresso (for brows) and carbon (for liner)
Wet ‘n’ wild color icon eyeshadow in sweet as candy (used the white all over the lids and the brown on the crease)
Majolica Majorca Liquid Perfect Automatic Liner (liquid) in black (applied on top of carbon)
Majolica Majorca Mascara in Lash Expander Frame Plus
Chanel powder blush in plum attraction (the ONLY chanel makeup i own hehehe)
NARS deep throat
Laura Mercier Lipstain in Mulberry (i loveeee this lipcolor!)
alternatively, i used revlon colorburst lipgloss in bordeaux

sorry for the lack of posts. going thru something right now… but i think i just got my mojos back! and will be posting more frequently now 🙂
this look is really simple. not much technique needed 🙂 really great for work or for going to parties. 🙂
i know this looks like the last few eye pics i got… but i swear! it looks different in real life! hehhe i need to figure out how to capture the colors better 🙂

MAC studio fix powder foundation in nc40 (i needed more coverage because my face was breaking out quite bad)
MAC eyeshadows in: espresso, patina, mulch and carbon (espresso for brows, patina all over the lids up to a little over the crease area, mulch all over lid, carbon as eyeliner)

hayayay… today has been a very stressful day… thank God it’s weekend already!!! hopefully next week will be much much better. *fingers crossed*
anyway, enough of my ranting… presenting my FOTW (except today because I hardly had time to put on my make up!!!):
i know this pic of me looks a bit weird (well my hubby thought it is), but it’s the most decent i have hehe.
the look: glowing skin, bronze eyes, peachy pink cheeks and pinkish brown lips
i decided to go for a more bronzy polished eye look. i made the eye the focal point of this look 🙂

i try to rotate my makeup look at a weekly basis because it’s just so painful if i need to decide on both clothes AND makeup everyday! :p
because of this, i decided to start posting FOTWs as well, usually my FOTW will be a more subtle and wearable look because it is something that should be work appropriate 🙂 oh and since i usually put on my makeup in the office, it has to be something easy to do!
